About Cairo Cleft Course
Founded in 2008 by Prof. Mamdouh Aboulhassan, the Cairo Cleft Course is an internationally recognized training program dedicated to advancing pediatric cleft and craniofacial surgery. Designed to equip surgeons with hands-on experience in the latest surgical and therapeutic techniques, the course has become a trusted platform for education, collaboration, and innovation.
The program is built on four core pillars

By hosting distinguished experts from across the United States, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Australia, the course serves as a hub for exchanging knowledge and embracing the most advanced scientific approaches. Its multidisciplinary framework integrates Pediatric Plastic surgeons, Orthodontists, Pediatricians, Pediatric Nutritionists, Anesthesiologists, ENT, speech pathologists, Audiologists, psychologists and cranio-maxillo-facial surgeons.

About MAXLUX
Founded within the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Karnak International Hospital – Luxor, MAXLUX was established as a scientific and educational initiative dedicated to advancing the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery.
Our mission is to foster knowledge exchange, share expertise, and discuss complex clinical cases, while supporting continuous medical education for surgeons. Through hands-on training and collaborative learning, MAXLUX empowers doctors to enhance their skills and improve patient care in their daily practice.
